What’s so shocking about this planned Nazi policy from
1943?  How different are these attitudes from before the
party came to power?
“All single and married women up to the age of
35, who do not already have four children,
must have four children. The fathers should
be racially pure German men. It does not
matter if these men are married or not. Any
family that already has children must set the
husband free for this action.”




Read the example of a Nazi lonely hearts advert
on p.137.
In small groups have a go at writing your own
lonely hearts advert for an Aryan Nazi woman.
Read the adverts around the room. Imagine you
are a loyal member of the Nazi Party. Place a
tick in the bottom left-hand corner to indicate
which lady you are most interested in!
