elite tombs include the first extensive inscriptions xxxx Old Kingdom fell because the
Nile didn’t flood for approximently three decades. After Peppy II’s long rule, bad kings
followed and eventually, many weak kings were made. Then, the Nile failed to flood
for three decades and so they fel l. The Egyptians originally chose their initial kings
for each dynasty and if the king became a monarch he /she would be overthrown.
Apparently, Peppy II’s son and the last rulers of the Old Kingdom didn’t follow that
rule.xx Egypt used their surplus of food to make great pieces of arts and
sculptures.xxWhen the common Egyptian died, he/she would be buried in a simple
grave in a desert. They used their great art in things concerning death, also in
deserts. Space was valuable, therefore, no house was left to rot. Their pyramids
were made of stone and domesticated houses were made of sun-dried brick. Ancient
Egypt did record their history though much of it is too old to allow us to be certain
about the information. They recorded things like the amount of sheep transported,
etc. Luckily, Egyptians recorded special events in a great way so it is available to us
now and won’t seem so old. We discovered mainly everything we learned about
Egyptian Kings from their monuments (how surprising!). 2125-1975 BC1st
