CNMOC thesis topic list)
– Approach called Systematic Forecast Process
– Includes developing automated tools to translate model
output into METOC forecasts
– Includes focusing the forecaster time on critical
mesoscale problems not addressed by NWP
– POC is CDR Steve Woll—SGOT Norfolk

– Interested in advising thesis topics focused on
advances in forecasting, mesoscale
meteorology and remote sensing.
