• - Using an everyday object jot down as many
words or phrases that come to mind. Don’t just
use adjectives, use the senses (taste, touch,
smell, sound, sight) as well as emotions.

could be a title for a story or poem. It could be
the opening line. Or it could be the basis of
something much bigger.
