Word cards
Word cards
• Go through the pack, trying to recall
what is on the other side
• Place words that are easy to recall at
the bottom of the pack; put harder
words back in the middle of the pack
• Go through the pack once or twice;
look at it again in about 30 minutes
• Look again later that day, the next day,
a few days later, a week later, etc.
• Transfer difficult words to a new pack
• NB Begin by looking at L2 words first;
later begin with the L1 words first
