Using “Annabel Lee,” write a well-organized essay in which you
analyze the techniques (metaphors, similes, alliteration, etc.)
Poe uses to convey his attitude about his relationship with
Annabel Lee. (Pick a strong tonal word: Obsessive, infatuated,
remorseful, melancholic, wrathful)
Use at least 5 vocabulary words and underline them, avoid dead
verbs where appropriate, and vary your sentence structures.
