Learn the ways the company does certain
things.
Ask for advice on how to be more valuable
to the company. Show that you are willing to
take on more responsibility.
Do your best to get along with co-workers.

Neat/clean
Prompt/on time
Dependable
Cooperative/get
Hard working
along with others
Follow directions
Drug free
Organized
Good attitude
If you receive a disciplinary action, make sure
you know what you did and how to correct
the situation.
Be open to what you can learn from a
performance review.
Don’t hear it as criticism. Listen and learn.
Be the best, set goals, and know your
company’s policies if you want to get ahead
on the job.
If the company doesn’t provide a uniform or
have a dress code, be smart about what you
wear. Take your cues from those around you,
especially your supervisor.
Conserving materials and supplies will
show your respect for the company.
Having a positive attitude will make the
workplace better and you happier.
