 Learn the ways the company does certain
things.
 Ask for advice on how to be more valuable
to the company. Show that you are willing to
take on more responsibility.
 Do your best to get along with co-workers.

 Loyal
 Neat/clean
 Prompt/on time
 Dependable
 Cooperative/get
 Hard working
along with others
 Follow directions
 Drug free
 Organized
 Good attitude
 If you receive a disciplinary action, make sure
you know what you did and how to correct
the situation.
 Be open to what you can learn from a
performance review.
 Don’t hear it as criticism. Listen and learn.
 Be the best, set goals, and know your
company’s policies if you want to get ahead
on the job.
 If the company doesn’t provide a uniform or
have a dress code, be smart about what you
wear. Take your cues from those around you,
especially your supervisor.
 Conserving materials and supplies will
show your respect for the company.
 Having a positive attitude will make the
workplace better and you happier.
