Attention 2nd graders, NASA needs your help!!! We need
astronauts to travel to our Solar System and explore our planets
to make sure they are not in any danger of a possible meteor
crash. Can you help us??? Great! Let’s go…




Let’s go astronauts!
The journey begins…
You’ll be asked to explore our Solar System
and its planets.
We need groups of 3 students per team.
After learning about the planets in our solar
system your quest is to create a poster about
them.

Your poster needs to include the following:
◦ Name of all 3 astronauts.
◦ Name of each planet in order.
◦ A drawing of the planet
 Include labels.
◦ 3 facts about that planet in complete sentences.
 Make sure you include details!
 Watch out for appropriate punctuation!
 Don’t forget capital letters.
◦ Tell me how you would imagine it would be like to live in
each planet.
 Provide 2 examples.
