ow Our Solar System was Formed
• Approximately 5 billion years ago an enormous star exploded
into a supernova (a giant star that has grown old or it had
exploded and sending star materials into space). It sent shock
waves through space creating a swirling clouds of gas.
When the cloud spun faster and faster, it formed a disk with a
glowing red bump in the centre. Eventually that became our sun
• At the same time, not very far from the chunks of rocks containing
carbon, silicon and ice all lumped together to form a small object
which we call planets.

• The first planet discovered was Neptune and the
discoverer was Sir William Herschel. He found Neptune
in 1781. He was probably the one of the famous person
in the eighteenth century.
• Clyde Tombaugh discovered the planet Pluto in 1930 at
the age of twenty-four. He died at the age of ninety. The
reason why he died is because of heart failure and lack
of oxygen.

• In the future it is believe that we could live on Mars.
You’ll get extra time in the day. Instead of three hundred
and sixty five days it’s six hundred and eighty seven
days.
• There is a volcano on Mars which is approximately
twenty kilometres high! Would you like to live in Mars?
hy does Jupiter have a red dot?
• Scientists says that the reason why is, it is a hurricane raging
for the last four hundred or so. Also the air of Jupiter stinks like
rotten eggs and the clouds smell like window cleaner for some
reasons.
• Jupiter also has around sixty three moons!!!!!!
here is Earth located?
• As we all know Earth is the third planet in
the solar system. We are ninety three
million miles away from the sun!
• Earth is the forth biggest planet in the
solar system!
• Did you know that scientists just found four planets that
has rings? They
• are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
• The solar system is at least four point five billion years
old!
• Astronomers just found another two planets? Called Eris
and Ceres!
• Ceres is a planet made with rich metal. If a person gets
about one mile (six kilometres) in diameter that is worth
around…………… twelve trillion dollars
