Have your parents sign your Course
Registration Form and return to your
homeroom teacher by the morning of
February 25th
Enter your course selections on-line in
the computer lab during the week of
February 29th
NBHS Graduation Requirements
All students in the Class of 2020 must earn 25 credits, including:
4 credits in English
4-5 credits in Math
3 credits in Science (including General Science, Biology & a Physical Science)
3 credits in Social Studies (including World History, American History &
Contemporary Issues/Civics)
1 credit in Physical Education
.5 credits in Health 10
.75 credit in Business (including Freshman Seminar & Consumer Economics)
1 credit in a Fine Arts elective (Art and/or Music)
1 credit in a Humanities elective (any additional course in English, Social Studies, Art or Music)
1 credit in a STEM elective(any additional Science, Technology, Engineering or Math course)
1.25 credit in a Vocational/Career & Lifestyle elective (any additional course in Tech Ed,
Family & Consumer Science or Business)
1 credit for a Senior Capstone Project
3.5 credits in any additional electives – including World Languages

STRONGLY recommended for students who are
planning to go to college after high school
Fine Arts Elective – includes any class in the Music
and Art departments

classes offered in both the Tech Ed and Engineering
areas
Career/Lifestyle Elective – includes classes in the
Business, Family & Consumer Science and Tech Ed
departments
Physical Education – PE 9 or Weight Training/Fitness
