How Does Globalization Affect YOU?
Global interdependence = mutual dependence among people around the world for trade,
security, ideas, communication and/or transportation.
Globalization = increased g lobal interdependence since 1989 (end of the Cold Wa r).
Goal and task:
You will conduct a simple researc h experiment at home to find out if globalization affects your
daily life. Find out by yourself or with the help of a family member where the following articles
were made. If you do not have a certain item, lea ve it blank. If you know the name of the
product but don’t know where it was made, you can go online and find out where the company is
headquartered. Write the answer in the space provided.
