WHAT IS A GPA?
Your GPA is the total of
all the final grades you
received in all your classes
from grades 9 thru12.
Grade Point Average –
is the calculation of your grades:
College Prep
A = 4 points
B = 3 points
Honors
A = 4.5
B = 3.5
The GPA is then used to show
colleges how well you have done in
high school. This is one of several
measures colleges use to determine
if you are a good candidate for their
school.
