Schindler List
• It is an American
biographical film of 1993
directed by Steven
Spielberg. The film tells
the story of Oskar
Schindler, a German
businessman who saved
the life of a thousand
Polish Jews during the
Holocaust. It is based on
the novel Schindler's Ark
• Oskar Schindler, a man of
great cunning and flair for
public relations, designed an
ambitious plan to gain the
sympathy of the most powerful
Nazis. Germany has just
invaded Poland, and thx to
their influence, achieved
ownership of a factory in
Krakow. They employ
hundreds of workers Jews
whose labor exploitation helps
you succeed quickly. His
manager, also Jewish, is the
true director in the shadow,
Schindler has the lowest
industrial knowledge.

• It was a global military
conflict which developed
between 1939 and 1945.
He became involved in
most of the world's
nations, including all the
great powers, arranged in
two opposing military
alliances: the Allies and
the Axis Powers.

• The Hub consists of:
Japan, Germany and
Italy. (This was the
side of Hitler and his
fascist allies) The
Allies (or the
Alliance), the
opposing forces were
formed by America,
France and England.
Why the war started?
• Invasion of Poland in 1939
and the Japanese attacks on
China, the United States of
America and the British and
Dutch colonies in Asia. In each
of these actions, the attacks
were the result of a decision
made by authoritarian ruling
elites in Germany and
Japan.World War
II started after
these aggressive actions in

annexation of
large territories by Germany.
What were the consequences of
the war?
• The consequences of the
war were the nuclear
bombs on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki, which were
completely destroyed,
fifty million dead,
genocide and Japanese

movements and ethnic
cleansing.
