Fought bravely on many
fronts in WWII
Early inexperience
brought many casualties
1941, fought in Hong
Kong against the Japanese
invaders where many were
taken prisoner and
eventually died
Fought with the Allies in
Dieppe, Normandy,
North Africa, Italy,
France, Belgium and
Holland.

Allies win control of the
Atlantic Ocean
Supplies being sent were
protected by Canadian
warships
Germans were a powerful
killing force in the
Atlantic with their Uboats
By 1943 after significant
losses, the RCN and BN
were winning the Atlantic
With better technology
(radar) and Air Force
protection supply ships
reached their destination
This won the Atlantic
