The Battle in the Atlantic- Germans were attacking
U.S. supply lines- created a convoy system to with
destroyer ships with sonar to detect German
submarines
Battle of Stalingrad- Germany’s defeat and divided
forces help the Allies get an upper hand
North Africa- U.S. troops fought for months and
got German General Erwin Rommel to surrender
in May 1943
Italy- Gained control of Sicily and fought Axis
forces which lasted until May 1944

the fate of Germany and the Axis powers.
