• Great destruction resulting in the extensive loss
of life, especially by fire.
Anti-Semitism
• Hostility toward or prejudice against Jews or
Judaism.
•Adolf Hitler comes to power in August 1934
•Hitler believed the Jewish Population in
Germany were responsible for the economic
depression.
•1934 Nuremburg Laws passed, made Jewish
people “subjects,” not “citizens.”
