Major Changes in 1994
Awarded grant funding to port its KBVision
software from work stations to personal
computers (PCs).
Use of PCs was quickly displacing work stations
in the imaging market.
AAI had imaging technology but no staff with PC and Microsoft
Windows experience.
Needed a partner who had complementary technology.
