Dan Duffy – Chief Executive Officer
Dan joined United Country 2006 to and serves as
the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. In his role
as CEO, Dan is principally responsible for the
establishment and execution of a long-term
strategy for United Country designed to deliver
competitive advantage to United Country
franchisee partners as they operate in their local
markets and serve their clients. Mr. Duffy
provides consultation with United Country
Brokers on property valuation and strategy
development.
Prior to joining United Country, Dan spent nearly
20 years focused on serving clients in a number of
senior executive positions. Most recently Dan
served as the Chief Executive Officer of ePartners,
Microsoft’s “2005 Global Partner of the Year” and
largest North American Microsoft Business
Solutions partner with over 20 offices serving
12,000 clients across the US and the U.K.
Additionally, Dan served as the Chief
Development and Financial Officer of an exchange
serving the auction and brokerage market for
industrial equipment. Prior to that, He was a
founding member of The Center for Strategic
Transactions, a division of Ernst & Young,
providing strategic and corporate finance advisory
services to Fortune 100 companies.
Dan is a graduate of Indiana University with an
Business
and
Accounting
Degree
and
Northwestern University with an MBA in Finance
and Marketing.
Mike Duffy – President
Mike is focused on bringing new, added value services,
sales and marketing programs to United Country
franchisees. Mike consults with United Country brokers
on property marketing strategy and marketing plan
development.
With a 20 year background in marketing and sales,
helping to build such national brands as Coca-Cola,
NASCAR, RJ Reynolds, Minute Maid, Community Coffee
and numerous other well known brands,
Most
recently, Mike served as VP of Marketing for
Community Coffee and Coca-Cola. In addition to
branding initiatives, Mike has expertise in sales,
building strategic partnerships and launching new
programs.
Mr. Duffy graduated LSU in Marketing and has an MBA
in Marketing and Finance from Indiana University.
David Dickey – Chief Operating & Technology Officer
David provides advanced innovative technology
solutions to United Country affiliates. His team has
developed the highest ranked real estate internet
marketing system with over 3 million visitors per
month. Additionally, he manages the only opt-in
national database of buyer leads and advantaged emarketing platform.
Most recently, Dickey was SVP for ePartners, Microsoft
2005 Partner of the Year, specialized in customizing
technology solutions to client’s business needs. Prior to
ePartners, Dickey was the Director of Professional
Services at Pervasive Software in both North America
and Europe.
Mr. Dickey graduated Texas Tech with a degree in
Management Information Systems.
Mike Jones – President Auction Services
Mr. Jones has been a professional auctioneer since
1978 after attending North Texas State University
where he studied business and journalism. Prior to
joining United Country, he served as President of Mike
Jones Auction Group, Inc., a national real estate and
auction company for over 30 years. He is considered an
expert in auction sale management and facilitation, bid
calling, marketing & advertising and business
development. Jones joined United Country in 2006,
today United Country is the largest integrated real
estate and auction company in America.
Jones served as the 55th President of the National
Auctioneers Association., is past-president of the TX
Auctioneers Association and is a 2005 TX Auctioneers
Association Hall of Fame Inductee.
Jones is past
chairman of the TX Department of Licensing &
Regulation-Auctioneers Education Advisory Board. He
was named the 1998 International Auctioneer
Champion in Oklahoma City and was the 1995 TX State
Champion Auctioneer.
Jones is the founder and Director of the Texas Auction
Academy training school where he has trained over
2000 auctioneers. He has conducted educational classes
and seminars in over 30 states and was the Keynote
speaker at the South African Institute of Auctioneers
National Convention in 2003. Jones was elected to the
National Auctioneers Foundation Board of Directors in
2010. He has conducted over 2,500 auctions globally for
Fortune 500 companies, International banks and
others.
Mr. Jones annually conducts over 75 charitable and
philanthropic auctions.
Shawn Terrel, CAI, AARE – EVP Auction Services
Shawn Terrel brings a very extensive live and internet
auction background to our management team. He has
more than 20 years of professional real estate auction and
bid calling experience across the United States. He has
managed well over 2,000 professional auctions with a
focus on land, commercial and development properties.
Mr. Terrel has served on the Board of Directors of the
National Auctioneers Association and is a Past Chairman
and President of the Oklahoma State Auctioneers
Association. In 2007 he was named Oklahoma State
Champion Auctioneer.
Mr. Terrel is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers
Institute at Indiana University and holds the Accredited
Auctioneer Real Estate designation. He is a graduate of
the Missouri Auction School and the Texas Auction
Academy, where he is currently an instructor.
Amanda Siler– VP Enhanced Marketing Services® (EMS®)
Amanda brings extensive marketing experience to client
projects leading the EMS team. EMS is an internal
advertising agency within United Country, unique in the
industry. EMS can provide any marketing solutions from
custom websites, brochure and advertising design, to TV
and radio development.
Prior to joining EMS, She worked as a National Account
Executive for a large regional homebuilder and developer,
managing over 400 marketing projects per year.
Amanda has a degree from the University of Colorado in
Management and Marketing and an MBA from Baker
University.
Additionally, our Home Office Marketing and Technology Team consists of over 100
professionals dedicated to exposing local listings more broadly.
