History
# Singer as a company began its journey in
1851.when investor of sewing machine isaac
merritt singer. Began to manufacture and
market a machine to automate and assist in the
making of clothing.
# In 1856, Singer initialed the “hire purchase” plan
which marked the beginning of a new trend in
purchasing this plan. Which was the first of its
kind, had almost as much influence the name
itself.
Introduction
 Singer Bangladesh Limited engages in manufacturing
and marketing color television, motor cycles, and
domestic and electric power cables in Bangladesh. The
company also involves in marketing DVD players, home
theatre systems, kitchen appliances, computers,
motorcycle, sewing machines, instant power supply,
refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioners, fan, generator,
microwave oven, electric oven, washing machine, and
sewing machines, as well as other consumer electronics
and household appliances

Recommendation
 When we went in Singer Bangladesh Limited. We found that they
are using MIS in Marketing .There is a problem that they use only
few tools in Marketing MIS in singer Bangladesh limited. Still
December 2011 they are using simple software. By using this
software they can’t handle all tasks in marketing department. But
the MIS manager of singer BD said that they will use more powerful
software which will be capable more information. At the turn of year
2012 name of the new software is IFS. So our recommendation is
that if they use mobile marketing software, email marketing
software, entertainment marketing software, then it will be more
helpful for their marketing purpose. If they use these sort of
software in marketing department then they can easily doing
upgrade marketing and they will be fit for global market
