Dave Evanson
Dave Evanson founded DJE Associates, Ltd. in 1991 and serves as the President.
Since the inception of DJE Associates, Ltd., Dave has worked with numerous
Fortune 500 companies on a wide variety of marketing and management programs.
Dave has over twenty-five years of experience in marketing / management and has
held senior management positions with prestigious firms such as Citigroup, Bank of
Boston (now Bank of America), Travelers Financial Services (now Citigroup) and
Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing.
Dave holds an MBA from University of Chicago.

Doug Longman
Doug Longman has over twenty-five years diverse experience in Marketing
Management, Strategic Planning, and Business Development. He has served in
Brand Management positions with PepsiCo and General Foods and directed
Business and Program Development for Citibank. As a senior consultant he has
worked with MasterCard, Visa, ATT, Bank of America, Citibank and Sears on
credit offerings. He has worked with DJE since 1995.
Doug has an MBA and Doctorate in Marketing from Indiana University. He has
taught Marketing Strategy and New Product Development at The University of
Chicago and The University of Texas.

Gail Long
Gail has been with DJE Associates, Ltd for over twelve years and has twenty years
of marketing experience. While with DJE, Gail has worked with many of the
nation’s top companies on various projects including planning, market analysis,
product development, and customer relationship management. Prior to DJE, Gail
was at Bank of America (formerly Advanta Financial Services) where she held
management positions in the relationship management, retention, research and
product development areas.
Gail holds an MBA from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Worked as a strategic partner on the launch and on-going management of one
of the largest credit card programs in history. Provided strategic direction
and guidance, managed product evaluation and business case development,
managed value proposition development and oversaw numerous partner
relationships to ensure program success.

Established a direct marketing arm at one of the nation’s largest business-tobusiness telecommunications firms in order to increase effectiveness and
profitability of sales and account management efforts. This included
development of the direct marketing structure, training personnel, database
refinement and analysis, plan development, and on-going program
management.

Prepared the strategic marketing plan including securing senior management
approval for one of the nation’s top fitness companies.

Worked with a top Yellow Pages company to develop and implement a direct
marketing stream for lead generation, upsell, and retention. Program
included value proposition development, targeting, creative development,
implementation, on-going management and program analysis.

Completed an in-depth analysis for a major telecommunications company
that encompassed an overview of several new market areas that were
acquired through a major merger. Analysis included securing necessary data,
data manipulation, analysis of data, identification of key findings, issues and
opportunities and recommendations for optimizing the value of these market
areas.

Worked with one of the top telecommunications firms in the country to help
them identify new market and product opportunities. This included market
sizing, defining needs of markets, identification of product opportunities with
