Welcome to the 2015 Marketing Summit
This year the Wake Forest University Marketing Summit is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The Marketing Summit is proud to be one of the most prestigious and competitive business
case competitions in the world.
To commemorate this special moment in our history, The Marketing Summit is partnering with
Inmar, an operator of intelligent commerce networks, to host the final rounds of the competition
during their annual Analytics Forum – a 3-day symposium featuring thought leaders offering
their insights on the future of Big Data.
The following deck will provide you with an overview of the competition, rules, schedule of events
and information about the organizing body as well as background on the Inmar Analytics
Summit.
The members of the organizing body would like to thank you for your interest in competing in the

Competition Overview
Summary: The Wake Forest University Marketing Summit is a case competition dedicated to
putting the best business students in front of leading companies to help them solve a new age
of marketing problems.
Competition Breakdown:
3 Rounds: Qualifying, Semi-finals and Finals
2 Divisions: Undergraduate, Graduate
Team Makeup: 3-5 Students (not all members have to present)
Key Dates:
Round 1 Qualifying Application - Feb. 2nd. Upload by 11:59:59 pm EST.
Semi-finalists announced – February 18th
Competition Case released – March 26th
Round 2 Semi-finals – April 6. Winston Salem, NC
Round 3 Finals – Undergraduate April 7, Graduate April 8. Winston
Salem, NC (as a part of the Inmar Analytics Forum).
Competition Overview
• Teams submitting an application agree that they will travel to Winston Salem
North Carolina and will be available to compete April 6-8 if accepted.
• Each Semi-finalist team is invited to attend all sessions and events at the
2015 Inmar Analytics Summit.
• The Marketing Summit will provide lodging, transportation and 3 dinners
while in Winston Salem for all invited teams. Travel to Winston Salem is the
responsibility of the team.
Rules
• All participants must be students who are currently enrolled at their University at the time
of the competition (April 6-8)
• Each participant must be a student at the same university, though a mixture of academic
backgrounds is both accepted and encouraged
• Case solutions will be the work of the team only. Faculty, administration and advisors
may help the team work on their general case preparation and presentation skills but no
substantive work may be performed by a non-team member
• All teams will be comprised of member from their respective divisions, no graduate on
undergraduate teams and vice-versa
• Substitutions are allowed at the discretion of the Marketing Summit organizing team.
Notice of substitutions should be sent to [email protected] as soon as they are known.
• Teams with members that will not be traveling for the final rounds must make that clear in
their application or as soon as that information is known.
