Spredfast in November 2011. Under the
terms of this partnership, Spredfast was
granted a license to re-syndicate Twitter
content for display, publishing, and
broadcast. They also were allowed to give
clients access to create sponsored products
using the Spredfast Platform. Finally, access
to Twitter's Firehose API means Spredfast
can analyze every Tweet in real-time (over
250 million daily).

Doped Fibre Amplifier (EDFA), where the
core of a silica fibre is doped with trivalent
erbium ions and can be efficiently pumped
with a laser at a wavelength of 980
nanometre|nm or 1,480nm, and exhibits
gain in the 1,550nm region.

of 500mW being required to achieve
useful levels of gain in a distributed
amplifier. Lumped amplifiers, where
the pump light can be safely
contained to avoid safety implications
