OxyCoal™ Clean Combustion system for the first time on a full-size 40MWth burner . Post
combustion facility simulates the entire process of modern coal-fired power generation. It
will burn real coals and biomass, and includes a range of gas clean-up systems, before CO2
capture takes place. The new facility uses Solvent Scrubbing Technology to capture CO2
from coal-fired
flue gases, through a process of absorption and regeneration.
