Copernicus as a programme will be a fundamental
European contribution to the Global Framework for
Climate Services

Copernicus will provide a strong basis for developing
Climate Services at all three of the GFCS scales
envisaged: global, regional, local/national

The Copernicus CC Service is designed to be
compatible with the Architecture Climate Monitoring
developed jointly by CEOS-CGMS and WMO
