About the school
Our school was founded in 1957, and we celebrated our 50th
anniversary in 2007. It has been a well-known, hard-working
school for generations. There are 419 pupils, and 66 members
of staff at the moment. In the words of the pupils, the school
is like one big family.
9.00: Registration and Wow Work – an activity to get the
pupils’ brains warmed up.
9:10- Literacy
10:30- Assembly
10:50- Playtime
11:10- Numeracy
12:15- Lunchtime
1:30- Registration and Creative Curriculum – a wide
range of subjects
3:30- Home Time – the moment everyone is waiting for!

Four Oaks has a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and
activities on offer to pupils, such as music lessons, sport
activities etc.
The children (and sometimes the teachers or staff) enjoy playing
sports matches against other school teams, in football, cross
country and athletics, to name a few.

The school also offers music lessons for a wide range of musical
instrument lessons. This helps the children to get a head start in
music, and to help them in secondary school.

Every year classes go on 1-3 trips a year. Trips
are related to subjects like museums or art
gallery's or sometimes just an enjoyable trip.
An activity camp, an educational town and just
a fun football day out.

Every so often, Four Oaks School has a special day or week where we
celebrate an occasion.
We raise funds for charities by, for example dressing differently, making and
building things, staging a play or various similar activities. We have lots of
fun doing these activities and here are some pictures to prove it!
音楽的な生産
Every 2 years our school puts on a production. This year
the Sound of Music is being put on. The main characters
have been putting lots of rehearsals and effort into
learning the lines, dances and especially the songs. The
production starts in 12 days !! We are all getting very
nervous but excited at the same time.
The school has a website, where people can find out more
about us. We have a learning platform; where we are all
safe to share information and complete homework.
We have a guestbook to leave comments, a search box to
look for information and an our work area to view work.
