GiniInTouch
“GiniIntouch” is the application developed by Gini Ltd. The purpose of the application is to manage
the creation and routing of calls into the Gini global network of local PSTN access numbers. The
application connects a mobile phone user to one or more parties on a voice call, without using the
default address book or call dialing software from the phone vendor. GiniIntouch calls a local dial in
PSTN access telephone number in any one of over 20 countries and sends a dial string command to
a central switching centre that then terminates the call to the user’s specified destination.
ScienceSoft has modified and tested the application to work on MIDP2 phones from Sony Ericsson
to Motorola. ScienceSoft made the application more user-friendly by adding the following features:
easy contracts search, copy contacts from phone memory, data storage management, and set of
alerts to guide new users of the application.

Musiwave Discovery Engine
ScienceSoft participated in development of Musiwave Discovery Engine software, which allows
mobile users to download music tracks from Musiwave website. The software is designed to search
music by music categories, artist names, albums, similar artists or genres. Before downloading the
whole audio track, audio previews of 30 seconds are available to mobile users. The application lets
users get current news about artists of interest.

Community Portal
The customer has undertaken an initiative to bring a variety of new web services and specifically
portfolio hosting to the fashion industry. Realizing that they managed to create a great destination
for creative individuals, the customer decided to approach phase II with a broader brush. It was
envisioned that their portal will be a website geared towards the creative community. The site serves
the community as well as the general public as they investigate creative production.
The new look & feel of the site as well as the following additional functionality was created during
stage II of the project: Portfolios Pages, Network Home Pages, Network Discussion Pages, Individual
Media Pages, User Home Pages, Admin Mail Management, Fastget category organization, Media
Management, Advertising.

Learning Portal
The web-portal called "The Learning Portal" facilitates access to a comprehensive
administration and management service. The portal assists the various participants in the
competence cycle to communicate and interact in a seamless and integrated manner.
Employer functionality allows employers to access training courses of participating learning
providers directly and let the Learning providers update the competency of employers’
personnel as they complete training etc. Candidates for employees and independent
contractors can view their records, book training etc.

Daily Scheduling System
ScienceSoft has developed a production scheduling system to support the planner in the daily
scheduling process (daily production planning). ScienceSoft helped the client realize its goal by
implementing the following two main aspects:
• Splitting an incoming weekly demand into single batches and allocating these to the free workstations
(work order), with a given sequence and timetable through the available production shifts and within
agreed constraints and planning rules;
• Constituting the filling and the packaging production steps.
ScienceSoft’s team created a product that was successfully implemented in the plant, situated in
Germany. The testing results proved efficiency of the supplied system, thus shortly the system is
planned for production in Italy plants as well. Currently ScienceSoft is working on migration of system
database to Oracle.
