in trouble.
 I can do something even if I don’t want to or if it’s
too hard.

Birthday Procedures
We love celebrating student birthdays and if students would like to
share a treat that is great. Make sure to send enough treats for
18 students. (Students will not be able to share treats with other
staff or students.)

Please notify me that you are sending a treat so I can plan
accordingly.

Please provide napkins and have individual servings already prepared
for distribution.

We will devote approximately 10 minutes to a birthday usually at
the end of the day.

Summer birthdays can be celebrated on ½ birthday if you wish.

Treats should meet the Nut Safer guidelines sent home.

Children should not pass out personal party invitations at school
unless the entire class is invited. We do not want hurt feelings!
Snacks
 We will have a break for snack each
afternoon. Students are encouraged to
bring a healthy snack that meets the Nut
Safer Guidelines.
 Snacks must be eaten during afternoon
recess.
 Healthy snacks help boost your child’s
cognitive functioning, emotional wellbeing,
and overall stability/energy.
Water Bottles
 Water Bottles may be filled one time
per day before the first bell rings.
 Water Bottles must be kept underneath
student desks.
 Please make sure water bottles have a
secure lid to prevent spills.
