sprain and a strain?
Sprain
• Tearing of
ligaments

tearing of
muscles or

What does R. I. C. E.
stand for?
• R – Rest
– Rest the injured area
• I – Ice
– Provide cold packs or ice to the injured area
• C – Compression
– Wrap injured area to keep stabilized
• E – Elevate
– Raise the injured are if possible

How do you care for
