Think of a story that you can write about
that is related to the school or
community. Write the Lead for the story.

WRITING THE BODY
The Body of the story includes some
useful detailed elements about the story.
They often support the information from
the lead.
Looking back to our News report
TIP: A quote in the body often adds some personality and
support for the writing.
WRITING THE CONCLUSION
This is the least information that is
important to the story.
However a good writer knows when a story can direct their audience to
another story, so they may want to tag the conclusion with a preview of
stories to come.
For example a story about a dance the writer may want to
mention upcoming events in their conclusion.
