SKELETAL SYSTEM
The adult human body has
206 bones, but a baby’s
body has about 300 bones.
Why is there such a
difference? What happens
to these bones as you grow
up?
Bones rely on the muscles
and joints to move. How do
they all work together?
MUSCULAR SYSTEM
Skeletal muscle
Cardiac or Heart
muscle
Smooth muscle
Muscles provide strength, balance, posture, movement
and heat for the body to keep warm.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
The break-down

If not for the
digestive
system… we
wouldn’t be able
to enjoy all the
delicious
HEALTHY meals
we eat
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The system
responsible for how
we receive oxygen
into our bodies!
All mammals have a
respiratory system…
even dolphins!

Passes nutrients, gases, hormones, and
blood cells throughout the body.
Helps fight disease
Controls body temperature/PH
