2002 Statistics
650 visits were made to 45 targeted settings for intensive follow-up.
3500 contacts were made to children and families via individual assessments
or screenings, letters to parents, parent meetings and phone consultations.
Health informational newsletters were distributed quarterly to targeted
child care settings impacting 4000 children/and or families.
85% percent of 1000 participants gained new knowledge on topics discussed
in health presentations.
90% of targeted settings improved immunization documentation thus
resulting in 50% of parental compliance.
15 of the 45 targeted settings increased licensed (star-rated) status due to the
impact of the program
