Transcript Journey into Space

Imagine you are in space. Create a soundscape which describes
your experience in music. Here are some words which might help
you to imagine the scene:
Enormous distances
Weightlessness
G-force
The pull of the Earth
Urgent rapid action
Unknown
Long periods of inactivity
Fear
Elation
Satellite
You should use keyboards and any other available instruments to
create your soundscape. Experimenting with unusual keyboard
sounds (voices) is a good way to start.
• Work in pairs
• Experiment with pitch (how high or low the notes are)
• Experiment with sound effects (using keyboards or percussion)
• Leave lots of SPACE in the music - fewer notes works better!
• Be creative with sound.
