Review Sheet to Complete DuPage
Interoperability Survey
Please bear with us as we attempt to collect as much data as we
possibly can for this project. We need this information, to provide
both the best and worst case scenarios to the ETSB and Motorola
for the development of the DuPage County radio system. When
completing the section of employees on duty with radios during a
time period, (please indicate the highest number of employees that
have radios or access to radios (e.g. records, front desk…) during
that time period).
If you have any questions, please contact Steve Herron at 630-7194725, or cell at 630-546-0009. It may be helpful to print these
instructions as you fill out the excel file.
We must have this information by June 13th, when complete
please email the Excel sheet back to Steve Herron at:
[email protected]
If you use the spread sheet, it will
calculate the information for us, this
will make it much easier.

Add the total
numbers of
employees that
have radios, or
access to radios
during the time
frame. In this
example, 6 officers
are on duty, 3
Detectives, 2 CSO’s,
etc…
These columns
will automatically
add up
Please enter your current population of your
community/jurisdiction, then your population
estimate for the year 2025 or 2030 whichever you
can get (I got this information from our Economic
Development Department)

The spread sheet will calculate the estimated
increase/decrease and will calculate a
percentage increase/decrease. We will be
using these numbers to estimate the potential
growth of the system.

By ILEAS levels, please place the number of cars which would respond to your
community, by county (and some jurisdictions) for an ILEAS call out. As you can see
if I were to request a level 2 callout, I would receive 5 DuPage Cars, 1
Willowbrook/Clarendon Hills car, 1 Cook County car, 2 Will County cars and 1
Naperville/Aurora car. We need to have all 10 levels completed as shown in this
example
These numbers should add

Many of us are in one or more additional mutual aid organizations, e.g. FIAT, NIPAS or
the County Task Force. In the event you request additional aid beyond ILEAS, please
enter the number of units that would respond.
In this instance, I would get 9 DuPage responses, 1 Willowbrook/Clarendon Hills, 1
Naperville/Aurora and 1from Cook. Please complete all the response levels for your
agency.
