So Now What do we do with
this information?
 Encourage the use of protective gear, hockey
helmets, mouth piece, protection vests, proper
gloves
 During hot or humid weather encourage
contestants and volunteers to stay fully hydrated
and cooled down.
 Continue to teach at Rodeo Schools with the
emphasis on proper stretching, hydration, and
protective gear
 Avoid providing “Energy Drinks” with high levels of
Caffeine to Contestants.
 Look for ways to “Teach Rodeo Safety”
Rodeo is a dangerous sport. We will
have injuries, we will experience pain
at the end of the day. We view these
reports so we may help you look for
trends and possible issues.
Please be kind to your Health and
Safety Committee and provide reports.
We really truly want them, so we can
help you help the Contestants,
Volunteers and Spectators at all our
IGRA Rodeo’s.
