increase overall TeraGrid utilization to
73.5%.
• The decrease in jobs reported is due to lower
utilization of the Purdue Condor Pool
– Condor produces vast numbers of very short, 1-core jobs
– In 2007, one large-scale project, since completed, ran
~3 million jobs on the Condor Pool.
• The number of non-Condor jobs increased by
40%
– From 1.6 million in 2007 to 2.2 million in 2008
