and our community to identify 7 wonders
of Columbus. Each group will research
their wonder to persuade a visitor to the
Columbus area to visit their wonder. All
the wonders will be recorded to create a
podcast about Columbus, Indiana. To
compare other communities, students
will read Flat Stanley and write letters to
family friends in other parts of the
country or world. We will mark on a map
where we get our return letters from to
introduce geography and map skills.

Begin writing your letter to the first person your Flat Stanley
is going to visit. Be sure to include what you want the
person to do with your Flat Stanley while he is visiting.
