What is State of Nature?
• State of Nature is about resetting the conversation
• We need to start new dialogue with our current supporters
• We need a genuine dialogue with new audiences that we
currently don’t engage
Resetting the Conversation
• The problem is real.
• It affects you as an individual in real ways.
• But we can solve it together.

• Jackie from St Kilda is the lead customer support manager for a large IT
company.
• Samantha is a hospitality manager at a four star hotel in Canberra.
• Terrence is a divorced father in his 40s from Rockhampton and owns and runs a
seafood retail business.
• Nadia is a postgraduate fashion design student from Glenelg.
• Tom is a business analyst in his late 20s who lives in Geelong.
• Rory is a doctor in his early thirties from Parramatta and is a member of a local
mountain biking group.
• Sharon is a married, stay at home mother of four from Perth.
• Eamon is an apprentice mechanic who lives in Maroochydore.
• Dave is a father of three who coaches community sport and works as floor
manager at Harvey Norman in Fremantle.
• Jennifer is Chief Executive of an industry super fund in her mid-40s from
