Final Exam: Overview
Your final will consist of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and
Multiple Choice.
The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are all
interconnected. You will be hearing a witness’s account, reading a
police report, and writing an article about an event that recently
happened. You will use the Listening and Reading sections to help you
create your Writing section.

Final Exam: Speaking
For your speaking final, you may choose one of the three following
topics. Read each option thoroughly. All will require that you use
the preterite and for all prompts you should be prepared to
answer 3-5 follow up questions.
1) Tell me about your daily routine yesterday morning using the
preterite. You must include at least five reflexive verbs and two nonreflexive preterite verbs.
2) Tell me about a trip you went on last week, last month, or last year
using the preterite. You must include several details (suggestions: time
of departure/arrival, destination city, who you went with, what you did
at the airport, etc.).
3) Tell me about a crime that you read about in a newspaper. You must
include details (suggestions: who did it, where it happened, when it
occurred, what was stolen, etc.).
Your Speaking Final will be on Monday, December 15 &
Tuesday, December 16.
