Transcript Systems Research Group

Welcome to Matthew Lodge from the EPSRC!
• I’m Jon Crowcroft of the Systems Research Group (SRG)
• The SRG covers a lot of bases:
• fixed and wireless networks, operating systems, distributed systems,
programming languages & runtimes, databases, mobile systems…
• ~10 faculty / senior researchers + ~30 graduate students
• We have a number of topics scheduled for today, primarily in the space
of multi-core, healthcare, and mobile and social systems and modelling.
• First, however, let me give you a brief overview of other work done
within the SRG…
