• Test will complete at 8pm 9/30/2010.
• No Major issues encountered so far
– New: Next Full System Test
• 24 hours in duration
• To occur on 10/27/2010 and complete on 10/28/2010
• Specific times will be communicated in the Friday Market Call preceding the
test

Description
Assign the From Station of an AC Line Segment to the
Near attribute in the CIM/XML
When a QSE or TSP copies an outage the OS UI is
retaining and submitting the actual start date of the
previous outage. The actual start should not be
enterable until the outage has been approved. This
date prevents the MP from being able to extend or
end the outage and gives a false start time.
The TSP cannot submit a group outage on a breaker
that is jointly operated by a QSE.
OS UI: Copied Outage is retaining the AS date in the record
it should not copy the AS of a previous outage
The TSP cannot submit a group outage on a breaker that is
jointly operated by a QSE.

The OS UI needs to have a way to display the
Deferred history of an outage.
The OS needs to auto populate the Actual
Start/Actual End on an outage with the
"Nature of Work" of "New Equipment
Energization" or "Retirement of Old
Deferred equipment".
The OS UI Summary page and the Warnings
Deferred Tab need to display the "Nature of Work".

Description
Work Around/Comments
The MPs have requested the ability to view
the history of an outage.
Enhancement
When a MP is putting a new piece of
equipment in service they are suppose to
enter an outage with a Planned Start date
of a network model load prior to the date
the equipment we be energized. Since the
model load will be around MN they have
asked that the system auto populate the
Actual Start.
When a MP is retiring a piece of
equipment they are suppose to enter an
outage with a Planned End date of a
network model load after the equipment is
removed from service. Since the model
load will be around MN they have asked
that the system auto populate the Actual
End.
Enhancement
The OS UI Summary page and the
Warnings Tab need to display the "Nature
of Work".

SSWG Planning Model Activities
• Currently testing new case building process
– Dealt with some unexpected MOD issues
– Profiles submitted
– Standard PMCRs to be submitted
• Many new 90XXXX buses created by Topology Processor are
due to RARFs submitted by resources
– Resources have no idea what PSSE bus numbers to provide
– ERCOT Network Modeling submits the NOMCRs
– No mechanism for TSPs to review to provide bus numbers
