The Sun!
• The sun is 150 million kilometres away
from Earth.
• The sun rises in the east every morning.
• The sun gives us light and heat.
• The sun has a core in the centre of it.
• The sun is about 5,000 degrees but the
core is 3 times as hot.
• It takes light about 8 minutes 70 seconds
to get from Sun to Earth.

• Stars are white, blue, red, yellow,
and brown.
• Stars begin as dust and gases in
space.
• Some stars group together in
clusters.
• Stars grow larger as they grow older.
• Most stars blow up when they die.

universe since the Pistol star is
about 260 times as big as our Sun.
