Existing TDO’s systems advantages
• TDO’s existing infrastructure is not part of the Electronic Toll
System, but easily connected to ETC system via standard
interface connection
• TDO’s existing infrastructure is used by BSP for toll calculation
• TDO’s existing contractual business partners are easily
involved in the Electronic Toll Collection
• Avoidance of unnecessary additional OBU purchase, BSP cost
saving on needless assets, logistics, reparing costs

Potential open solution for GPS tracking market
• General Terms of Service defines the tasks, business
procedures and responsibilities of the TDOs
• 40 signed (5 foreign), 21 (1 foreign) operating TDOs
– 5 from other EU countries
– Continuous verification process: nominees: 1
• On the side of TDO there is no technical restriction in
order to fulfill the verification rules
– AAK supports joining of new TDOs

• the Tolled Road Section,
• the toll category (J2, J3, J4) of the tolled motor vehicle over
gross weights > 3.5 tons, and
• the environmental classification of the tolled motor vehicle
