Faith
• Faith is saying
conviction
• La ilaha illa Allah
muhammadur rasoolu
Allah meaning there
is no god but the
messenger of god is
Muhammad
• No one but god
should be worshiped
Prayer
• Five prayers a day
but they don’t take
more then a few
minutes
• Directly between the
gods and the
worshiper
• In the prayers there is
inter happiness and
peace as well as
comfort with god
Donation AKA Zakat
• Zakat meaning
purifications and growth
• There possession for it is
to set-aside a small
proportion for those in
need
• A person must also give
as much as he or she
pleases as voluntary alms
or charity.
Fasting
• The month of Ramadan is
the month when Muslims
fast from dawn until
sundown.
• It is regarded principally
as a method of spiritual
self-purification.
• A person learns to
sympathize for those who
go hungry & do not have
food.
Pilgrimage
• The yearly trip to
Mecca is an
obligation in a lifetime
for those who are
able to.
• About two million
people go on this trip
per year.
• Performed in the
twelfth month of the
Islamic calendar.
