Who Am I? Christina Devitt EDU 2022 Where I was Born My Name is Christina Devitt. I was born on August 9th 1985 in Hinsdale Illinois. I have lived in Naperville all my life. My Family I have a Mom named Patricia and a Dad named John. I have sister named Jenny who is 22 and graduated from Illinois State University last December. I also have a brother named Joey who is 14 and a 8th grader at Lincoln Junior High. My Dog I also have dog named Bailey who is a Black Lab Retriever and she is 5 years old Where I went to School? I started Kindergarten at the age of 5 at Kingsley Elementary School. I went there until I was 5th grader at the age of 10. In 6th grade I went to Lincoln Junior High until 8th grade. While I was in school, I played Volleyball and was on the Track team. Where I went to High School? In 9th grade I entered Naperville Central High School. I participated in several activities such as soccer, cross country, and track. I also participated in star raiders and young life. What I Like to do for fun? What I like to do for fun is hang out with my friends, play soccer run, watch movies, watch TV, shopping, listening to music, and work out. My Job For the past 4 years I have been a camp counselor for Apachi Village Day Camp. It is a day camp for kids aged 3-11. They participate in several activities such as swimming, dancing, bowling, and music. I enjoy working at this camp because it gives me a good opportunity to work with kids. I enjoy coming back each year and seeing the same faces I saw last year. Eastern Illinois I am currently a Sophomore here a Eastern and I am studying Elementary Education. My concentration is English. Some activities I am involved in with school is Circle K International. What is my favorite sport? My favorite sport is soccer and I started playing soccer at the age of 5. I got into soccer because of my sister who played it. I first started playing soccer through the park district and then at the age of ten I tried out for the Naperville Lighting Soccer Club where I played with them until I was 15. At 15 I joined a new team called the Celtic Futbol Club and played with them until I was 18. I participated in several tournaments throughout the country. I have always enjoyed playing the game and miss playing the game. In the summer, I participate in summer leagues where I can continue my skills. What are my favorite T-V shows I am a huge fan of the TV show Friends. I also like watching Reality TV shows like Real World, Newlyweds, and Road Rules. I just started to get into the OC and its becoming one of my favorite TV shows right now. Future Goals My future goals right now is graduate from Eastern Illinois with a degree in Elementary Education. My ideal grade to teach is second grade.
