One day Terry the Turtle
was thinking. “I wonder
how the world was
created”. So Terry the
Turtle decided to go and
find out!!!
It was not long before Terry the turtle came across a
Buddhist “ How was the universe created? “
“well young terry, Buddhists believe that you should not
ask questions, life is just simply too short!!! “
“But my mind will not rest if I do not know the
answer “ Terry the turtle said in an upset voice
“ No!!!” said the Buddhist “ answer this question
How will knowing the answer change your life”
I REALLY
DON’T
KNOW!!!
“Well Terry how will it change your life? all it will
do is make you know one more thing it’s one
more thing!!!
“ I really want to know though?” Terry began to weep
“ There is a story about a turtle just like you and all
he had to do was keep his mouth shut in order to
get to his friends house!! All he had to do was keep
his mouth shut when the two swans were carrying him
by a stick which the Turtle had in its mouth but the
Turtle opened its mouth to ask a question and dropped
to the ground breaking its lovely shell!!”
From that day Terry never asked another
question which he didn’t need to know and
thanks the Buddhist as now he lives each day
