Alexander Hamilton Early Life
 Alexander Hamilton was born on west Indian island of Nevis,
January 11,1755. He married Elizabeth Schuyler, the daughter
of general Philip Schuyler.
Military Career
He soon came to the attention of Genera1777, became a
aide-de-camp. He led a critical charge at the battle of
Yorktown which helped to break the British lines and
led to their surrender.
The War of Independence
 The war of Independence had began and at a mass meeting held in
the fields in new York city. On July 6,1774, Hamilton made a
sensational speech attacking British policies-Hamilton's military
aspirations flowered with a series of early accomplishments. On march
14,1776,he was commissioned captain of a company of artillery set
up by the new York providential congress.
