Giant Fionn Mac Cumhaill (Finn
McCool) built the causeway to
walk to Scotland to fight his
Scottish enemy Benandonner
He fell asleep before he got to
Scotland. When he didn't arrive, the
much larger Benandonner crossed
the bridge looking for him.Wife of
Finn wanted to protect her husband
so she laid a blanket over him.
Then she said Benandoner he was
actually Finn's baby When
Benandonner saw the size of the
'infant', he realized how big his
father Finn had to be and fled home
in terror, destroying the Causeway
in case he was followed by Finn.
