What Can You Do to Prevent
NPS?
• Purchase household detergents, & cleaners
low in phosphorous. Keep soap out of
street, water, and yard.
• Dispose of used oil, antifreeze, paints, and
other household chemicals properly –DO
NOT HOSE INTO THE STREET.
• Keep trash, pet wastes, leaves, and debris
out of street gutters and storm drains

Protect our Water Resources?
• To preserve our culture, and
resources for future generations.
• To keep the community and fish
population healthy.
