HPV Vaccine

HPV (Human Papillomarvirus) vaccine
is a vaccine that protects you from:
genital warts, cervical cancer, vaginal
cancer, and vulvar cancer.

In 2006, Dr. Albert Jenson, a
researcher of tumor immunobiology,
invented the HPV vaccine and still
holds the patent on it.
•
You are able to get the vaccine
between the ages of 9 and 26 or
before your first sexual contact.
•
75% to 80% of women and some men
may be infected in their lifetime.
•
In 2010, 4,210 women died from
genital cancers.
