Students’ Profile
Age: from 14 to 16 years old.
 Students with almost no opportunities to express
what they think and feel.
 Students are used to following orders.
 Students come from public secondary schools.
 Developing students’ autonomy and turning them
from passive to active individuals is a difficult
process.


Students were asked to choose the task
they had enjoyed the most throughout the
course and to write their opinion about it.
Most of the tasks were carried out on the
web and opinions were published on the
class blog.
Students were given the choice to use
English or Spanish to express their
opinions.

my favorite project was reviews about
children stories that we read on line
because I liked the stories and that
project was very funny.

Hi teacher, I want to say you that the activities are
wonderful and very good, because they help me to
learn English with the best and funny form in the
school. The web sites that you use are very
interesting. I liked the virtual museum and making a
collection of Ology cards, I liked the group oral
presentation about a country too, because the activity
helped to talking English. The web site Podomatic is
a wonderful web site because it is interesting and
funny for me.

class is very interesting but who has
no internet is already in troubles. It is true
that internet helps me to learn but when
I’m with no money I really in troubles.

and I tried to complete alone my podcasts.
This type of work without orientation is
very hard.
